Online Racing:

For several years I have participated in racing leagues using a computer and the Internet.  Take a look at the TNTRL link on the main page for more information.  We use NASCAR Racing 2003 simulator for the CUP and CTS racing.  To add comfort and realism for my online racing, I built this racing simulator.  The seat is from a Mazda Miata and the rest of the construction materials are MDF, plywood, PVC pipe and foam insulation.

Well, the painting and decals are finally complete. With the numbers and driver's name added we are ready head to the track....

Update:  I have added Saitek X52 flight controls and rudder pedals to the simulator as can be seen in the last 2 pictures.  So, is it a racing Mustang or a flight Mustang?

Update 5/2/2010:  I have now added 2 Thrustmaster MFD components for more "immersion" and control of the flight and racing simulations.

 SCUBA Diving:

This photo appeared in Scuba Diving Magazine in a feature article about Peter Hugh's Diving Inc.  We did not know the Captain had taken this picture as we were getting ready to dive and we were certainly surprised when it appeared in a national magazine!   That's Sandy and Ed on the second deck as another set of divers is getting ready to step off the swim platform.
